You've got to be in it to win it

Get the attention you deserve by entering the NCE/ ACE Consultants of the Year Awards.

Are you a team of designers who think you can better the ingenuity behind Parsons Brinckerhoff ‘s (PB) renowned fibre reinforced footbridges?

Or do you have an individual in your firm whose contribution to the standing of the civi l engineering consul - tancy profession matches that of White Young Green’s schools ambassador Lynden Cable? Then it is time to stand up and be counted by entering the NCE/ ACE Outstanding Achievement Award 2010.

PB won top prize in this category of the hotly contested NCE/ ACE Consultants Awards in 2008; Cable was themain man in 2009.

This year it could be you, or you and your team as long as you get your entries in by 12 February.

Entrants can be either individuals or teams and may be project based. The one thing that all entries must have is a demonstration of significant achievement.

You could have been doing ground breaking work that is changing people’s lives for the better, outstanding work in raising the profile of engineering in the community or the wider world or even behind an amazing project success with a real wow factor.

Young Consultant Award

The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and NCE has created the Young Consultant of the Year Award to recognize industry talent.

Any academically qualified consultant or engineer aged 35 or under on 1 March 2010 is eligible for entry. But you have to enter yourself! The winner picks up a prize of £1,000 and receives their award at the NCE/ ACE Consultants of the Year lunch at Claridge’s in March.

Call for entries

Winners of the Major, Medium and International firm of the year categories in the NCE/ACE Consultants Awards 2010 will in part be determined by details in your submissions to the NCE Consultants File.

Shortlisted firms will be expected to answer some follow up questions, and please be aware, the quality of answers to these can make the difference between winning or becoming a runner up. Consultants File entry closes on 5 February.
