DOWN TO EARTH: Members of the Health & Safety Board got on site during their annual meeting in the regions as guests of the Yorkshire association, where closer links between local associations and the board were top of the agenda. Chairman of the board, Helen Stone (right) and other board members visited the Earth Centre at Conisbrough, outside Doncaster, which is due to open to the public at Easter 1999. The main aims of the centre are to build future systems for buildings with a view to restoring society's link with nature. Recycled materials are being used in the construction of the site.
