WSP re-appointed to London tube

Northern Line

WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff has been re-appointed as the prime system integrator support partner for London Underground as part of a £1.9M contract.

The firm will be working on London Underground’s New Tube for London programme, and work entails integrating the new tube systems into the existing one. This includes new trains and signalling systems.

The company has already been working on the programme for the last two and a half years.

WSP’s associate system integration consultant Paul Quintavalle said: “The New Tube for London will greatly improve the way many of us travel across our capital; and it’s exciting to remain at the heart of London Underground’s Programme team, a place we have earned through hard work and a close client relationship.

“The team has done exceptionally well and I am confident we will continue to support the New Tube engineering effort as we move forward.”
