Wrong target. . .

Letters

Your correspondents (Letters last week) are surely right to condemn foul language in a professional context, not least because of its lack of precision.

But they are surely wrong to try to shoot the messenger.

It is the interviewee who should wash his mouth out and we do not need to be protected from this truth.
