The bridge deck panels, either 10m or 20m long, are replaced during the night. A lifting gantry is positioned on the suspender ropes, and the existing panel is lowered to a barge in the harbour. This footage shows the project seven segments along, with 39 to go. The work includes replacing the road deck, floor beams, stiffening trusses and suspender ropes on the suspended spans. It is expected to be completed by December.
