Video | Dutch engineers illuminate turbines

Windlicht

A team of Dutch engineers and designers has produced a stunning light display by illuminating the blades of wind turbines.

Source: Studio Roosegaarde

Windlicht by Roosegaarde was designed to showcase the beauty of green energy. The team at the studio used bespoke software and tracking technology to connect green lines of light to the blades rotating at 280km per hour.

It’s the same team behind the country’s glow-in-the-dark cycle path.
