Abu Dhabi 3x2

Ground investigation specialist Aces has been awarded the material testing contract for a major marina development in Abu Dhabi.

The Dh850M (£178M) AlQana project, which is located along the Khor Al Maqta area, will include a 5,000m3 aquarium, a 98 berth marina, cafes and restaurants, and a four-storey residential development.

Aces has been appointed by developer Al-Barakah International Investments to carry out material testing, environmental testing of soil and ambient waters, and air and noise monitoring.

The AlQana development is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2018.
