Women in Construction

Accessing work experience and employment in the construction industry is the theme of this year's Women in Construction Conference, which takes place at the National Construction College, Bircham Newton, on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 May. Organised by the Construction Industry Training Board and Women & Manual Trades, the conference will provide an opportunity for women interested in, or already working in, construction to meet, share best practice and to learn, via a series of seminars and key speakers.

There will also be workshops looking at barriers and opportunities, as well as practical sessions on various topics including straw bale building.
