Woking to get trio of towers

Three towers with a combined 85-storeys are to be built in Woking town centre.

Bandstand Square Developments’ Victoria Square scheme was approved by Woking Borough Council this week.

It will see construction of a 34-storey residential block; a 30-storey residential block; and a 21-storey hotel with conference and spa facilities.

There will also be new civic spaces, an energy centre and changes to local road layouts.

Construction is expected to take four years once it gets underway.

David Ellis, director of scheme architects Benoy, said: “The Victoria Square development is an exciting project with a multitude of retail, entertainment and food and beverage options we believe will entice residents and visitors to Woking.”
