With regret . . .

Letters

I hope I am not alone in feeling saddened by the cold, matter of fact way you chose to report the deaths of our co-professionals (NCE 29 June).

It was John Donne who said, 'Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind'.

My kindest regards and condolences to the families of the deceased.

Tirath S Saggu (M), 12 Fairholme Road, Ilford Essex IG1 3QR Editor's note: NCE apologies for any hurt or offence caused.
