Wind farms are a permanent eyesore on the open countryside, their power output is tiny and intermittent, they cannot work in light or strong wind, making difficulties for the grid, and they operate at about 25% of their claimed output.
More energy is consumed in providing the turbines than would be recovered in their life.
But there is big money to be made, hence the increasing publicity from the wind lobby.
Politicians who conduct their business in cities and take their holidays in the unspoilt countryside of Italy and France, do not consider or care about the beauty of Britain, which they are about to destroy.
