Why so quiet on the cost of this bridge?

Letters

I am surprised that no question has been raised concerning the cost of the Millennium bridge.

Built at low level over placid shallow water, its cost per metre of deck appears to be around twice that of the 16km long 0resund Strait road and rail bridge, built at high level over deep open sea in exposed weather and carrying a much greater live loading.
