Monday 1 March, London Social justice in an upwardly mobile society
More people are travelling further and faster than ever before. But with this comes the problem of congested roads, greater pollution, an increase in traffic related accidents, global warming and the decline of local facilities and services. In it he argues that the forthcoming revision of the 10 year transport plan must try and balance easily affordable transport with social justice and environmental impact.
