Southern Water is to invest £125M over the next five years upgrading its water grid to cope with the Government's housebuilding plans for the South East.

A vast underground reservoir has been discovered under the desert in Western Australia. The reservoir has the capacity to supply a city of one million people for 4,000 years.

London's Battersea power station is to be redeveloped as a £500M residential and entertainment complex by property company Parkview International. The 15ha brownfield site has been derelict for more than 10 years.
