News stand

Residents on the western shore of Loch Broom in Scotland are protesting over weight restrictions due to be imposed on four weak bridges in the area. The restrictions mean that heavy vehicles, such as school buses and tankers to empty septic tanks, will not be able to use the route which serves five villages until November 2009, when repair work ends.
