The fraud squad is investigating Transco for corporate manslaughter following a gas explosion in Larkhall, Scotland. The incident happened in 1999 in which a family of four died.

Railtrack's shares fell to a new low last week to just 340p, following rail regulator Tom Winsor's second warning that the government would not bail out the company.
