What the papers say - Evening Standard

News stand

Network Rail has introduced a new sticky de-icer that should provide long-term protection against ice build ups in points, which are vulnerable to jamming in freezing weather. Traditional de-icers drip off points as the ice melts and must be re-applied.

The new 'ice magic' will stick to tracks. Twenty trains have been adapted to apply it across the network.
