Foundation contractor Westpile will be demonstrating some of its newest innovations at the show. The firm has bolstered its corebusiness - design and installation of bearing piles and bored pilewalls - with an extensive capital investment programme. Newplant, including three new Soil mecpiling rigs, has been added to the CFA and rotary piling fleet, enabling the firm to install CFA piles up to 1,200mm diameter in depths of up to 30m. Its cased flight auger piling system enables construction in a wider variety of ground conditions and improves construction of bored pile walls. Westpile is now using a slip-forming system to produce its Hardrive precast piles, increasing factory output, improving efficiency and reducing wastage. Stand 9580
