Wembley stadium

Wembley stadium principal contractor Multiplex has this week denied press reports that the arch lift will be delayed due to structural problems. It said that surveying work of the arch only began last week to assess the accuracy of its fabrication. The arch lift is programmed to start in the next few weeks. Meanwhile two steel erectors were badly hurt when a cage suspended from a crane fell 15m after a cable snapped.
