Welsh government due to unveil £15bn spending plan

The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) is due to unveil its investment plan today with £15bn planned over the next decade on capital projects.

The Wales Infrastructure Investment Plan for Growth and Jobs will outline how the Welsh Government will invest more than £3.5bn over the current spending review period and around £15bn over the next decade in capital projects.

WAG finance member Jane Hutt said today’s plan will focus on nationally significant schemes such as investment in housing and would highlight new innovative financing solutions.

The plan will be unveiled at 3pm today.
