WELSH ASSEMBLY:

WELSH ASSEMBLY: The George Gibby Award was presented by Roger Sainsbury at the South Wales Association annual dinner to Mike Edmunds of Ove Arup, Mike Hogan of Carmarthenshire County Council and Geoff Rose of Birse Construction. The award was presented for their project, the Millennium Coastal Park Lan Bridges at Llanelli. The winning project constructed short tunnels instead of bridges under the Swansea-Fishguard main railway to conserve the natural park landscape.
