Web of intrigue

Do you not think that an error may exist in the conclusion that 'the most frequently used resource where civil engineers obtain engineering knowledge is the Internet' (NCE 29 April), considering that the NCE 500 poll was carried out by email?

I am not automatically disputing the conclusion, just the means by which data was gathered. Surely this cannot be best practice.
