WE HAVE BREAKTHROUGH

The first of the London tunnels for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link broke through last week when contractor Costain/Skanska/Bachy Soletanche's tunnel boring machine (TBM) broke into a ventilation shaft at Barrington Road in east London.
