Water power


Anywhere else in the world where there is a vast quantity of water free-falling down a big hole, it would be considered an opportunity to harness some hydro-electric power.

Has this been considered for the Thames Tideway Sewage Tunnel, to offset, to some extent, the energy demand to pump the water out at the other end?
