Water industry regulator Ofwat

Water industry regulator Ofwat has published plans to allow a private company to supply water to Shotton Paper on Deeside, Clywd, in place of existing supplier Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. If approved, the new supplier Albion Water will be a joint venture between Enviro-Logic and South West Water. Albion would act as a broker, taking water from Dwr Cymru and selling it on to Shotton Paper, until it develops an alternative source.
