Watch home video footage of the Camberwell fire

Compartmentalisation failure may be to blame for the rapid fire spread which killed six people in a 1960s south London tower block on Friday, leading fire engineers said this week.

Six died following a serious fire in the fourteen storey Lakanal House in Camberwell on Friday evening. A further 12 people were taken to hospital and around 30 people were rescued. Eighteen fire engines and over 100 firefighters attended the incident. Watch home video footage here
