Virtual library puts all ICE papers online

Institution news

THE LARGEST repository of full text civil engineering papers in the world is now available online, with the launch of the ICE's Virtual Library.

Virtual Library allows users to search the ICE's full archive of technical papers stretching back to 1837, and buy individual papers on a pay per view basis.

Full text versions of papers from 1935-1998 are available now. 1837-1934 will be available from 1 September, providing full access to the ICE's complete archive - over 200,000 pages or 50,000 articles.

The papers will be available for downloading in PDF format for a fee of ú10 ($14) per paper ($7 for members). Papers from 1999 onwards are already available at Journals on-line, with full text available free to journal subscribers.
