Views sought for soil test comparison

GEOTECHNICAL CONSULTANT Murray Rix has been appointed by the Environment Agency to carry out a 20-week research project on the acceptability of the accelerated permeability test.

The project primarily aims to compare the test with the British Standard constant head test, based on a designed testing programme, and to seek the views of industry, guided by a committee derived from industry and relevant institutions.

Views on the significance of the research and testing would be appreciated and may be sent to Dr Ted Murray at Murray Rix, 5A Regent Court, Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10 0AD.
