Video | Viaduct demolition in London

Skanska and demolition specialists Armac have removed railway viaducts in south London to make way for the Bermondsey dive under.

Network Rail released timelapse footage of the massive operation, taking place as part of the Thameslink Programme.

The viaducts, which used to take trains to central London, will be replaced with a system allowing Charing Cross-bound services to pass beneath the Thameslink line.
