Video | Progress on bridge over shipping canal

Footage has been released showing progress on a 38m-tall bridge over Manchester’s Shipping Canal in Salford.

The RMD Kwikform video features Howard Civil Engineering project manager Shaun Hill talking about the major project.

RMD Kwikform supplied formwork and other solutions to the concrete specialist for use in construction of four complex concrete towers to support the lifting bridge.

The project is part of the £30M Western Gateway Infrastructure Scheme being undertaken by a joint venture of Hochtief and Buckingham Group Contracting for client Peel Holdings.
