Venables discusses transport in Wales

During ICE president Jean Venables’ visit to Wales, she had a private meeting with the deputy first minister and economy and transport minister Ieuan Wyn Jones at the Welsh Assembly.

They had earlier shared the stage at the ninth Wales National Transport Conference at Cardiff City Hall, organised by ICE Wales Cymru . Wyn Jones told the conference that ensuring Wales had a more effective and sustainable transport system would be more important than ever as Wales looked to come out of the recession.
