US Department of Energy


The US Department of Energy has made available an astonishing 5.6M pages of information on the Yucca Mountain in Nevada prior to an application to the federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission later this year to use the mountain as a nuclear waste depository. The pages make up 1.2M documents of investigations on the science, geology and engineering of the proposed scheme and are presented at www. ocrwm. doe. gov/ymp.
