Union Railways appoint managing director


Union Railways has appointed Dave Pointon as managing director for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) following the sudden departure of Alan Dyke last month. Pointon joins from Eurotunnel where he has spent the last 18 years, most recently as strategy and planning director responsible for fi nancial restructuring.

Dyke left in August after 16 years with the project.
