No amount of advanced technology can get past the fact that the new Manchester Deansgate building depicted in NCE (27 May) has absolutely no aesthetic value whatsoever.

Its appearance is absolutely hideous. All the aesthetics score extreme negatives.

Have we not learnt from the past? It is possible to make a tall building look really good, so what has gone wrong here?

What sin has Manchester committed to be punished with this monstrosity? I cannot rant enough!
