Tunnicliffe heads Construction 98

LONDON TRANSPORT chief executive Denis Tunnicliffe is expected to outline the next steps towards injecting private capital into the London Underground system at New Civil Engineer's Construction 98 conference this October.

Tunnicliffe heads up a heavyweight list of speakers for the one day event, which is now recognised as the annual summit for construction's chief executives.

Construction minister Nick Raynsford, Railtrack development director Martin Reynolds, Arup chairman Duncan Michael, Scott Wilson Hong Kong chairman Ron Rakusen, Bovis international development director Roger Mabey, Amey private finance expert Charles Mogg and Gibb director of engineering Scott Steedman are also among the speakers.

Construction 98 is being held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, in London on October 21 and focuses on new markets.
