Tunnelling Summit | Celebrating the 10th annual conference

International Tunnelling and Underground Space Awards 2015

New Civil Engineer will celebrate the 10th annual Tunnelling Summit next month with a host of expert speakers discussing some of the key projects in the industry.

Highlights for this year’s Tunnelling Summit – the annual gathering for professionals across the tunnelling industry – include explorations of smart technology in tunnelling, innovative design and practice at High Speed 2 (HS2) and a focus on international projects.

Tickets booked today (Friday 4 November) will receive a £50 discount.

Taking place in London on 7-8 December, the event will bring more than 200 industry leaders together to explore pipeline projects, share best practice from UK and international schemes, and explore the latest technology and innovation making an impact on tunnelling projects.

Speakers include HS2 project engineering director Tim Smart and Tideway programme director Peter Shipley. The summit will focus on key projects such as:

  • HS2
  • Tideway
  • Silvertown Link
  • National Grid’s power tunnels
  • London Underground Future Stations Programme.
