Transportation engineers and post graduate students looking for a flexible way to further their skills can study an MSc or diploma course in Transport Engineering & Planning at the University of Salford.

Issues such as traffic prediction, urban public transport and road safety can be studied on either a one year full time or two year part time basis. Entry requirements are in place but there are no barriers to those with a proven commitment to their career. 'Work experience in the transport engineering field generally shows us that prospective students have a strong motivation for the subject. Our courses give individuals the option to gain some formal qualifications to add to their experience,' says course director Ralph Henson.
