Transport improvements given go-ahead


Transport improvements for the South East worth £530M have now been given the go-ahead by the government, following advice on transport priorities from the South East England Regional Transport Board.

Projects approved include new platforms at Reading station and the A27 Chichester bypass are funded through the regional budget and are planned for the period 2011-2016.
