Transparency International launch guidelines


Anti corruption lobby group Transparency International launched guidelines this week to make public procurement more transparent.

Minimum Standards for Public Contracting is being published with its 2005 Global Construction Report which highlights that corruption in the construction industry undermines economic development, especially in post conflict reconstruction. The report can be viewed at www.globalcorruptionreport. org.
