This week's letters Injury figures: good news


As a civil engineer working as both a structural engineer and a planning supervisor, I agree that there is much to improve in the way some people implement CDM.

However, it is ridiculous for you to say that a decrease of 170 injuries per 100,000 workers (more than 10%) shows 'no significant improvement'. Whatever the reason, the reduction should be celebrated.
