The mayor of Hasankeyf cancels UK tour

The mayor of Hasankeyf, a town due to be submerged if the Ilisu dam is built in Turkey, has cancelled a tour of the UK. Contractor Balfour Beatty, part of a Swiss-led consortium, has secured a ú200M UK export credit guarantee for the project.
