The Highways Agency hands over control

The Highways Agency this week handed over control of the capital's trunk roads to Transport for London. With the exception of the tails of the M1, M4 and M11, all trunks roads and key borough routes and river crossings will become part of the Greater London Authority Road Network. Many Agency staff have already transferred to the GLA.
