The Gallery | Queensferry Crossing comes out the water

Transport Scotland has released these images of progress on the Queensferry Crossing.

Taken this month, the pictures show Scotland’s biggest infrastructure project taking shape in the Forth Estuary.

Michael Martin, project director for contractor Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors, recently said: “This is our busiest and most exciting construction year.

“It’s great to be finally out of the water, with our main construction risks behind us, and see the structures grow upward and outward.”

Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors is a joint venture of Hochtief, Dragados, American Bridge International and Morrison Construction.
