The Gallery | New White Hart Lane station

This is how the area around Tottenham Hotspur’s Football Club will look after councillors approved a regeneration scheme linked to the club’s new stadium.

Haringey Council agreed a masterplan for the High Road West area of the north London borough, which will include rebuilding White Hart Lane rail station.

Plans also include new public spaces, 1,200 homes and business facilities.

A 5,000m2 public square will include an amphitheatre for community events as well as a new library and enterprise centre, surrounded by cafés, bars and restaurants.

Councillor Alan Strickland said: “These plans are significant – a big step towards improving the lives of local families and giving them the high-quality, modern homes they deserve.”
