The Construction Products Association

The Construction Products Association (CPA) has called for the next government to help the construction industry be more environmentally friendly.

The CPA wants it to increase the amount of money from the climate change levy that is committed to help industry invest in energy efficient processes and equipment. It also wants additional incentives for companies to join the proposed Emissions Trading Scheme and make provision for a wider range of energy saving products to be eligible for a lower rate of VAT.

London Underground's Canary Wharf Station and the new Stratford Regional station have been nominated for the forthcoming World Architecture Awards.
