The Construction Careers Event

Do you want a new job? Are you looking for staff? Do you want to join an exciting initiative to attract new recruits to the construction sector?

Answer yes to any of these three questions and you need to know more about The Construction Careers Event.

The Construction Careers Event is the only national pan-industry careers show and a must for everyone looking for new staff or a new job.

There has never been a better time to be a graduate or mid career professional seeking employment in the construction industry. The Government's multi billion pound investment plans for the road, rail and housing sectors mean construction skills are in great demand.

This is the chance for individuals to pick the best opportunities available and for companies to meet the best potential employees.

Over 30 employers will be on hand to explain to graduates and mid career professionals the benefits of joining their companies.

And together, the leading firms will be promote the benefits and enjoyment to be had from a career in the construction industry.

The Construction Careers Event is supported by Emap Construct's three leading weekly magazines - New Civil Engineer, Construction News and the Architects Journal - and the Careers in Construction website.

This gives the event unique access to the widest possible range of construction professionals.

'This is an opportunity for us all to promote construction as an exciting, rewarding industry to come and work in, ' said Construction Careers Event sales director Andrew Knight.

'We will be publicising the event in NCE and its sister papers and also directly to universities and through advertisements in national and local newspapers.

'Apart from providing a forum for employees and employers to meet, there will be a packed programme of CPD seminars over the two days so everyone attending can learn something new.

'We ran a similar event three years' ago which was a huge success and attracted over 3,000 visitors and 29 exhibitors. The time is ripe for a repeat and we expect everyone involved to find their two days at the Construction Careers Event even more rewarding.'
