The British Consultants & Contractors Bureau annual awards

The British Consultants & Contractors Bureau annual awards recognised a number of consultants this week for their achievement in projects overseas. Large consultancy of the year was Mott McDonald for its tunnelling work on the Boston Artery project. Steer Davies Gleave was highly commended for its Trans Milenio bus project in Bogota, Columbia. Individual consultant of the year was Steve Lowthorpe of Crown Agents with Clive Garnett of Mott Macdonald highly commended.

Small consultant of the year was Dewhurst Macfarlane & Partners for its work on the Kimmel Centre, Philadelphia, with TLC Consultants highly commended for the Western Plains Zoo, Australia.

Construction firm of the year was won jointly by Taylor Woodrow Construction for the Accra Waste Project in Ghana and Edmund Nuttall for the Bhairab Bridge in Bangladesh.
