Test your cricketing skills at the Brit Oval

Engrossed in the Cricket World Twenty20 Cup? Has it inspired you to share your talents for batting or bowling? Well, here’s an opportunity − the Mace Celebrity Cricket Challenge in aid of WaterAid.

Mace is looking for companies to put in teams of six to play limited over cricket at the Brit Oval on 24 July, with the added attraction of taking on the world’s number one celebrity team − the Bunburies.

This infamous bunch has included Rory Bremner, Eric Clapton and Sir Ian Botham. If you fancy your chances against them or teams from Thames Water, Aecom, Scottish Water, Balfour Beatty, Veolia Water and Mace, contact Danielle Dickinson at Mace on 020 7068 6297 or email

Cost for putting in a team is just £6,000, for WaterAid. “We are planning an informal and enjoyable day and we wanted to offer an event with a difference,” said Mace utilities director Andy Sharples.
