The Gallery | First look at stunning Crossrail stations

Crossrail has revealed new images of some of the stations in London that will form part of the new Elizabeth Line.

The images are of stations mainly in central and south east London. The stations will open in 2018 and integrate into Transport for London’s existing network.

The images are on display in a new free exhibition at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) called ‘Platform for Design’.

“The Crossrail project has worked with world-leading architects and designers to deliver a new railway that draws upon the fantastic transport architectural heritage of London and London Underground with each station reflecting the distinct character of the surrounding area and presenting a common line identity,” said Crossrail head of architecture Julian Robinson.
