When people walk past 122 Leadenhall Street in the City of London, they look up. What used to be a conventional looking office block now comprises a seven-storey exposed section of central core with seven upper storeys balanced on top. The reasons for the building’s bizarre appearance lies in the fact that it is being demolished and replaced simultaneously.
